Tuscany has something for everyone.
- Wine & Food.
I are 10 km from the northern edge of the Chianti region, with its vineyards, enoteca and wonderful restaurants. The Mugello Valley has many fine restaurants of its own, known for their authentic local cuisine and excellent wine cellars.
The local farmers market is a treasure trove for gastronomes in search of oil, cheese, mushrooms and salami.
- Culture.
I are less than 15 minutes from Vicchio, the birthplace of Giotto. Florence is a 35 minute drive, Sienna and Bologna, are less than an hour away. Lucca and Pisa can be reached within 80 minutes, Rome and Verona are only a 2 hour drive.
- Outdoor Pursuits.
I have several private hiking trails and picnic sites available to my guests on the property. In addition, there are mounting biking and horse riding available a short drive from the farm plus swimming at the local open air pools.
Either coast can be reached within an hour and three-quarter’s drive.
In the winter, fantastic skiing is available at Abetone, two hours drive away.
- Motor Sport.
I are only 15 km from Mugello Autodromo, the Ferrari test track and home to the MotoGP. I are also only an hours drive from Imola and Misano.
- Golf.
Poggio Secco is only 15 minutes drive from the Golf Club Poggio dei Medici. It was constructed to USGA standards, and opened in 1995 and is home to the LPGA Italian Open.
