There’s a lot of work to do on this section but here’s the basics:
A coupla years ago, a dear friend of mine died suddenly and I thought this was a sign that I should not delay my dreams. my biggest dream at the time was to get a little place in Italy -- a nice, little rustic home for the holidays.
Instead I ended up buying a 37-acre farm in the mountains above Florence. It is called Poggio Secco. The farm has a four-bedroom house, a barn that has been converted into a two-bedroom house, a coupla hundred olive trees that produce beautiful oil, a piggery, a chicken coop, and the rest is chestnut forest and pastures.
I’ve done a lot of work on the place since I bought it. Pictures will be placed here as I have time to do so. I am currently renting out the barn only. Drop me an email for more info.
