Like the word WONKY, I too am of British extract. My name is Mark Frost and I am a media executive living in London. . The bio goes something like this --

Mark Frost has been questioning the role of technology as far back as he can remember. Even in his earliest memories he remembers asking his research engineer father how the things he brought home worked, and, more importantly, how and why people would use them. He's still doing it today. After several years in the computer press as a respected editor and technologist covering both hardware and software issues for MacUser Magazine and The Net, (for which he was Editor-In-Chief), Frost left the business. He realized there were other areas of the human/technology relationship that were still to be explored.

He spent a year as a strategic consultant to some of the biggest names in software development, helping them make sense of this moving target called the internet. He has spent considerable time helping these companies grapple with issues ranging from product development to interface design, and strategic marketing.

At the same time Frost has worked closely with the media community to keep his finger on the pulse of what the software-using world really wants from technology. Most recently, Frost has been exploring channel fusion or channel melding -- the strategic orchestration of different channels to make a more powerful whole. He has developed this approach in the areas of media and retail. Finally, he’s been exploring the wonders of restoring a farm and getting it to produce after nearly 40 years of dormancy. This requires unlearning technology to some degree, and discovering how mother nature would do it.

In other words, he still spends most of his time figuring out how the things he sees work, and, more importantly, how and why people might benefit from them.

By popular demand I have finally managed to get a modern picture of me. This was taken May, 2004. By the way, a wide-angle lens was used ....my head is in fact of normal proportion to my body....at least I hope so...
